Lindley Estes is a writer, reporter and editor. She is a graduate of George Mason University’s MFA program in fiction writing. She is also a longtime journalist and editor, having worked as the Fredericksburg Business Insider Editor and a reporter for the Free Lance-Star, Fredericksburg, Va.’s daily newspaper. She has written for publications about business and higher education, local government and art. And health and history. And a little of everything else. She has edited for multiple publications, as well. Her creative writing has appeared in journals including Whurk, Wig-Wag, the RS-500 and Seven Stamps Review.

At the moment, she is teaching writing and is a freelance editor.

Lindley lives in Fredericksburg with her son, her cat and her one true love: a Hermes 3000 cursive typewriter.
